THE ACCOMMODATION

Step-free access from the main entrance leads directly into the ground floor open-plan living room and dining area, and fully fitted kitchen.  Two air-conditioned bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to separate outdoor terraces and share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.  A lockable door leads upstairs to a loft-style double bedroom 'hideaway' with en-suite shower and large private treetop balcony.

Outside is a choice of comfortable and well-equipped areas for outdoor summer living.  Whether it is eating a leisurely breakfast on the Olive Terrace, relaxing in a sun lounger on the Sun Terrace, taking a post-lunch nap in a shady hammock in the garden or toasting the sunset from the Treetop Balcony there is always a place to be found to enjoy the view.  There is a traditional outdoor kitchen complete with a BBQ and pizza oven to make the most of alfresco dining on balmy summer evenings.

Villa Meli shares a swimming pool and surrounding sun terrace with the five apartments next door. The location is rural but not isolated, it is generally quiet and laid back but the villa is situated within a hamlet and there are neighbouring houses. A 15 minute downhill stroll through the olive groves or forest track will take you to Lakkos - a beautiful tree-fringed natural white stone beach.  Orkos beach is also within walking distance and the popular Manadendri beach, which offers tavernas, sun loungers and a swimming pool, is approximately 5 minutes by car.  The nearest tavernas, bars, shops and bakery are located in the picturesque village of Lakka, also a 5 minute drive away.
